Manager Cost Engineering. A key member of the Project Management Team. Reporting directly to the Project Executive (Team Leader), responsible for review of Bill of Quantities and Specifications during the Design stages and checking and certification of various contractual payments during the construction stages. He will be assisted by Cost Engineer Buildings and Cost Engineer - Infrastructure . Tentative date of commencement would be February 2006. and the duration of the assignment would be 3 years. The ideal candidate will have · A degree in quantity surveying. A relevant post graduate qualification will be an added advantage. 15 to 20 years of hands on experience in complex buildings projects. Previous overseas experience in the Middle Eastern Region. A sound knowledge of trends across the industry. High level of communication and inter personal skills. An attractive salary package including air tickets, accommodation in Kuwait and company maintained car will be offered based on the candidate`s qualifications, skills and experience. The project is a large university campus design project in Kuwait. The company is responsible for project managing the project from inception to completion, commencing with the selection of design consultants, management of design consultants through the design period, construction tenders of various packages and construction supervision. Negotiable Salary c.Ј60,000 Plus Ј12,000 car*accommodation.
